Anyone want to go to the moon?
June 17, 2008
Well, I was waiting to post until I had the first comic strip finished, however, my partner-in-crime, Brian, hasn’t gotten around to editing it in Photoshop yet. Maybe this post will get his attention!
So, I was reading a magazine, and came across an article about “space planes.” These planes will provide “wealthy thrill-seekers” the ability to feel weightless, and get some great pictures while they’re at it, all for $240,000 a ticket! Where can I sign up? These planes will be ready for take-off by 2010. Unfortunately, with the cheapest flight costing $100,000 (includes only 90 seconds without gravity), it looks like the only “spectacular views of earth” I’ll be getting is from my daily ride on the metro-rail.

Space Adventure’s C-21 Suborbital Vehicle, they also offer a trip to the moon for $100 million.
How It’s Gonna Be
May 11, 2008
Well, since this is my first blog and I cannot decide on a general topic it will be about anything and everything. For now, I guess I’ll start with what projects I have going right now.
I like to doodle cartoons and such, and I have been trying to come up with characters for a comic strip. At first I wanted to do a cartoon about a robot, and I may still do that. But for now I have come up with Rocko and Walter, a snail and an inch worm that long for an epic adventure. I’m not that great with writing though, so my boyfriend, www.brianolyaryz.com, will be writing the story.
I am also in the process of organizing and scanning all of my family photos. Once they are all scanned in, I’m gonna buy some photo albums for them. So, expect to see some of these photos in my posts. In this photo I am 2 years old. I took the liberty of trying on my Dad’s new boxers for him.
Otherwise, I don’t have much going on. I start summer term tomorrow. I am now an officer under the American Society for Engineering Education(ASEE), go take a look! http://www.engineering-mdc.com/about.html
Once I finish classes, Brian and I are going to California for a week. Yay!
